"Clean" is the least useful word in a work order. One person means the floors, another means inside the oven and behind it. So we write down which one we mean.
Every cleaning scope we run is itemised — room by room, surface by surface, appliance interiors named explicitly. That is not bureaucracy, it is the only way a clean can be checked rather than argued about. It also means the price is comparable between visits instead of drifting.
Turnover deep cleans are the bulk of what we do. Appliance interiors including oven, fridge and dishwasher; cabinet interiors and exteriors; bathroom descaling; window interiors and sills; baseboards, vents and switch plates; light fixtures; and floors last. The order matters — cleaning before the trades have finished means paying for it twice, which is why cleaning is the final step in every turnover scope we write.
Post-construction cleaning is a genuinely different job and gets priced differently. Construction dust is fine, it is everywhere including inside cabinets and on top of door casings, and it keeps settling for days. It needs multiple passes and a different method from a domestic clean, and treating it as a standard clean is why handover often looks dusty a day after someone cleaned it.
Recurring work — common areas, hallways, stairwells, lobbies, vacant-unit upkeep during a long vacancy — runs on a schedule with a checklist per visit. Vacant units are the ones people forget: a unit sitting for three months shows badly to prospective tenants without periodic attention, and dust on a listing photo costs more than the visit.
We do not do biohazard remediation, hoarding cleanouts or mould abatement beyond minor treatment. Those need specialist licensed remediation, and telling you that up front is more useful than accepting the job and subcontracting it badly.

Best for: Turnovers, project handover, and buildings with common areas to keep presentable.
